Well Birthdays have ended! Adina had a Batgirl party, Ananiah had a Pool party with her friend Jeremiah, Asher and Azarias had a Cars birthday party! We had a great round! Only one left is me and we will just forget about that one! lol June has been super hot already! hit 104 already! wow not looking forward to Aug. Got a virus on my laptop and now working on cleaning it up and saving all my pictures and files soon will have all my pictures on one computer then have to save them all to disks! Plus planning our homeschool year and getting money saved for our books! I plan on working with A.C.E. mostly this year but I do plan to add some others geat books to our school year! I am excited about my homeschool planner and all the great info I have found on some blogs. May make it home for a vacation and my 15 year high school reunion!

March Starts the Birthday season here at the McBride Casa! Adina's is the 14th of March John's and Hayden's is the 3rd of April, Ananiah's is the 28th of May and Azarias and Asher have June covered! the 17th and the 23rd respectively! That doesn't include the extended family Allison, Kaylee, Bay, and all the boys Joey, Josh, Matt. Soo Much fun Ananiah and Adina have been on a super hero kick so they want super hero parties Adina is in to Wonder Woman and Ananiah wants Hawk girl??? they found some of my old comic books and love them!! The PX gives some small ones out sometimes too. Captian America, Super Man, Spiderman, All those are people they pretend to be around here lately. Glad they are not into crazy things! Wink Wink. Now mommy's job is to find a way to make the cakes and decorations suitable for little eyes!!!! Fun Stuff

Sad I know it is almost March and I am just now posting something. I didn't do that well last year but I aim to do better this year! I am not sure who if anyone reads this blog but it is somewhere I can talk about my family! Well so much has happened since this time last year! Azarias was born and he is now 8 months old. He is growing so fast! He is trying to walk! pulling up on things and crawling faster then you would think. He walks the length of the couch and even has stood up by himself, but only for a few seconds! He goes from the couch to the chair and try's to jump to things. Asher is almost three and he is getting so big. Today he is not feeling well and said he was having a bad day because papa was at work. Such a daddy's boy! Adina is such a card, she is doing well in school and she is such a ham always playing jokes and messing with people. Ananiah is reading and doing school well also. She is such a big helper to me always helping with the baby. Such wonderful Children God has blessed me. I love my little family! Our Niece Jayme has moved in with us for a while so she can go to college and get her nursing degree. We are so proud of her. We love our Life in Louisiana, we have a fabulous church family and lots of new friends here. I still want to go over seas someday but for now we are content here in LA.

Well it is April and we just returned from a wonderful visit in Alabama and South Carolina! The kids did great in our travels! they travel so well for being so young! I think that is part of military life! We got to see friends from years ago and visit our previous church home in Alabama. My family visit was wonderful as well no drama or fights which is how I like it! lol The girls didn't want to leave Nana and Grandpas house! They are determined to go back with Nana when she comes to help with the baby! We will have to see how that pans out! lol Asher Loves his family as well and had so much fun! Everyone has commented on how brown he has gotten form being outside and how much bigger he has gotten! the girls have grown a bit as well! Ananiah is now in between sizes in her clothes and can wear a six if I tighten the waist band! lol Adina is in fours or fives depending on the brand! The are almost out of the baby section clothes and on to the big girl section! They seem sto grow so quickly! Ananiah is reading now so everywhere we got she is trying to read signs and pictures! I can't wait to get out some books for her to read once we get settled in a house! Adina is working on her letters and numbers still! I think she may be a right brain learner like me and we will haev to find ways to get her excited about school! Asher is counting and learning his colors and he learns more words everyday! I love to hear him say new things! lol He says Helk instead of help and peese instead of please. He is a funny boy! loves to make people laugh! Adina is getting used to being the middle child and now it will be Ashers turn to firgues that new place out when the baby comes! We are still looking at names we have two we are really thinkng and praying about! will fill yhou in later on that! The house situation is changing! we finally got a call from the housing office and they have a house for us so we should be looking at a house within the next few days! hopefully it will pass muster and we can move in soon! Well off to feed the masses!

Well we are going on month six and still no house! WE are still in Temp. housing. Not sure how much longer but we will hopefully be traveling to Fort Rucker for six weeks then w=once we get back the housing search begins again! the Apartment is fine and it works! We enjoy close time together and the kids are doing very well adjusting! They all three sleep in the same room which can be a trial at times but they love being close! Every now and again they get enough of each other and I have to seperate them! Things today are going different Asher is going to the Doctor tomorrow for more stomache issues! I pray it is just because it hurts to go potty not because there is any problem in his intestines. He is crying when he feels the "urge" to go and it is very uncomfortable! so hopefully the doctor will be able to fix this problem and he can start going again! John is leaving for Fort Rucker on the 14th which is the same day Ananiah is getting Bapisted and it is Adina's Fourth Birthday! It is amazing how fast time flies! Asher will be two Adina will be four and Ananiah will be six this year! The baby will be born in June hopefully before Ashers birthday! Hayden is growing up so fast he is so mature now and calls us regularly now which is a huge blessing! we will see him hopefully at the end of March! He turns 14 this year! soon he will be driving himself to see us! Crazy stuff! time flies!

We have managed to do quite a few new activities here as a family. We have been to the Natchitoches festival of lights, the cajun food festival in DeRidder, the local quilt show. the traveling fair was in town and we went to the circus in Lake Charles as well. We actually have gotten to do quite a bit of festiavls and things here in Louisiana. We have enjoyed it allot. The weather here is wet and we have had more snow this year then any of the years I have seen before! I think it has been a record year for snow almost everywhere! The kids loved it! We are still searching for a home and trying to determine where we will go from here! No word yet on the W3 board yet or if John has gotten a slot in the Guard yet. So no decisions have been really made! Once he gets into and finishes his Safety course at Fort Rucker we will make some more decisions on what to do for our family! God is the first deciding factor! Where He wants us to go, Live and work is the main concern right now! so Pray we have wisdom and guidence from Him! not much else to tell as of now! check back next montha nd maybe this roller coaster will have stopped somewhere! LOL

New baby, New year, (maybe a) New House, New Place

Well we all know I slack on this thing and have for a while! I am sorry! Not that I know how many people actually keep up with it but I should do better! I like to look back and read our accomplishments and activities! We have been busy this year! We usually have one activity with the church a month and a few other things going on! Well we had the Ladies retreat in Jan, it was fabulous! We spent the night at the church and had many ladies present a devotion and memories. It was really very good and so renewing for my Spirit! Then in Feb. We have had bowling with the childrens department, we had a wonderful time. Valentines day was nice! We went to the Circus with the girls one sat. It was great family time. John is taking classes at the local college so he is busy and always stressed but he is handling things so well! The new baby we found out is a boy so we are very excited about that! Ananiah has gotten saved and we are very excited about that! She will be getting baptisted soon. We got a chance to pick up Jaycee (adina's best friend from Lampasas) and she was here about four days! Church is the biggest activity around our house. WE go when ever the doors are open so that is busy time for us! We are still in Transistion housing, which is a two bedroom apartment on post. We have yet to find our new home. WE are ok but man would I love to find a house to rent around here. Renting is hard here too many people i guess! Supply and demand is high here so most places are out of our price range! We are trying so hard to get out of dept and work within our means! LOL funny when you say it out loud cause who really is ever out of debt? If you are give me some pointers! John's tour in the military is coming to a close and we are not sure if we are going to reinlist or find a new job somewhere. He is looking into many options, no open doors yet, but God will direct us when He is made it clear and it is His time to tell us! So the waitint is not actually killing me! the house thing bugs me a little mostly because I don't have our stuff all our stuff is in storage still! Not a big deal either we are sufficent in our provisions but funny not to have things when you want them! The baby is a boy so the name hunting has begun! I know it will ba an A name joust not sure what name it will be! I like them to have a great meaning and sound different! I dont like common names! lol so I have to be difficult in that area! My poor kids! Well I believe that is all that has gone on here for now! Pray for us to find the Lords direction in what to do for a job and where to find a houseand a name for this baby! Hopefully everything will be shown us before the baby comes in June!

ok it has been a while since i have updated this thing and I am sorry! I have even forgotten what my password was! I am slacker! Well We have moved to Louisiana and are living on post waiting for post housing to open up! We will be here at Fort Polk for three years I think! We are expecting a new little one due in June and John is now flying LUH's instead of blackhawks! We are doing well and I have updated pictures on my facebook! I think facebook took over my life for a while and now I am back to updating my blog! Hope this finds you healthy and happy in the new year!

Ok here it is in the end of July and I am just now getting on here to fill everyone in! Well we did have some great moments this summer! We left on the 6th of July for our trip to South Carolina, and we got back on the 24th! We drove on to Little Rock and Picked up Hayden, through Tenn. on to NC then into SC. WE were going to stop and see my Grandfather but right before we did we found out four people in our Church had tested positive for N1H1 virus! Swine flu was bad in our church right as we left! Four people were tested positive, but quite a few others had all the symptoms just were not tested! So we barely missed that. But we did not want to infect my Grandfather who has COPD and a weak heart! Not a good combo! So we traveled on the my Dad and Moms in Clover! Was a fun trip! Does anyone remember the show with Sally fields the Flying nun? I love it and John and I found it in a Cracker Barrel along the way! LOL It is so cute! well we made it to my families! We had some very funny days in the pool, and juts relaxing time before my brothers wedding! John and I got to travel down to Augusta to see My friend Lindsay and Steve. Lindsay and Emma were in a terrible Accident. Their house blew up and they were put in the hospital in June. Steve and Lindsay lost a son in the accident. Emma is still in ICU for care for her burns. Lindsay and Emma are doing great and progressing so fast! Pray they will have a swift and painless recovery, and physical therapy.
My brother and his wife had a beautiful and Godly wedding on the 18th. I will post pictures soon on FB. We left Sunday after church to head to Waco Texas for our Youth Conference. That was a wonderful week of activity and Services with Godly Men. We had quite a few teenagers get saved and make decisions to serve the Lord more. We had a greatest time there. it is one of the best weeks of the year! Now I am up todate I think! oh wait! We have orders to Fort Polk, LA We report before Oct. 1st. and We are Praying Hayden will be with us for good. Hayden has made the decision to come live with us full time, please pray that his mother allows this to go through without going to court. Well I believe we are caught up now. Asher is one and very full of himself! Adina is a stinker and such fun to interact with! Ananiah has glasses now and is so smart! Hayden is turning into such a young man is scaries me! His voice has changed, and he is taller then me. He is very smart and I hope one day he will use his full potential. I love my children more then life and am so proud of them! My husband is a wonderful man and I love him very much!

Ok so Facebook has all my attention! I have been really busy! Let's see where we left off it was beginning of April! Lots has happened since then and it is late, I don't remember it all! I will update this blog soon! I know the newest news is we are moving coming end of Sept. WE have a report date of 1 Oct. to Fot Polk Louisiana. To all those who think it will be bad please keep all neg. thougths and comments to your self please! We are trying to be positive about this move! It will be very hard to leave Texas! This is the only places our Children have known. We moved here when Ananiah was only 9 mths old, the other two were born here. This is the only house they remember as well as the only Church family they remember! So it will be very hard transition for them and Us. Please pray for us as we prepare to move! We want our house to sell soon. Thank you to all those who will pray for us! I will fill in the last three months soon!

Ok here is the month of March and beginning of April catchup~!! Well I guess you guys know I am not much for spelling and at times my fingers get ahead of my brain so forgive me when there are silly type-o's! Well Lets see where to start! Might as well start with filling everyone in on Shannon and my Nephew Ezra! Well Shannon got Prego a while back and had Ezra on the 22nd of Jan. He was a wapping 5 pounds and 5 ozs. So tiny but so darling! When we got home that is the first thing the girls wanted to see was their cousin Ezra! They came over for a while and we all got to hold him! He looks so little but man can he scream! Lol! I will be updating info on him as well here because as most of you guys know the more babies I can get my hands on the better and happier I am! I love Children and some people even call the me the crazy kid lady! I love having more children over here then most people can stand to be around! I would take a few home with me on Wed. nights or when ever they want to come! I babysit as many as I can handle! Anyway on to Ezra! well he is two months old now and he is living here with us so it is fun to have him around Ananiah loves holding him and helping Aunt Shannon with him whenever she lets her! The girls love Aunt Shannon and love to be around her! She is nervous and hovers when I take Ezra away from her! I have to or she will never let me hold him! She is stingy with him! She is turning out to be a rather good mommy! We are very thankful for that and that she is doing so much better! some of you know the whole story, for those of you who don't very long very complicated! Any how! Adina is as always my stinker! she is doing well from her surgery and never really talks about it! It is almost like it never happened, unless you try to touch her scars! Which I only do when I wash her! She is extremely active and never seems to fear much when it comes to playing. However she fears things on TV like the bad guys in a cartoon! She always comes running to find me and hides behind me when the scary parts come on or the bad guys are talking in the movies! Most of you know we monitor what they watch very closely and they never watch anything scary so it is quite funny when she watches things like the Fox and the Hound. She runs when they chase the fox and runs when the old man is mad and runs when they are arguing! She is quite the little chicken when it comes to movies! She loves Strawberry shortcake movies and they do not have bad guys most of the time! I thought that is what we were going to do again for her birthday but she chose Littlest Pet Shops this year and it was a hit! She loves her new pet shop toys! She plays rather nicely alone in there with them! Ananiah however is a carbon copy of her father and is never still, never wants to stay home, and is always Talking (yes I know she got that from both sides! LOL!) She is very bossy these days and always wants to go somewhere or have someone over to our house! She would invite the Church over everyday if she could! I have to admit I love company as well! So I guess she gets it double! Ananiah is very helpful and sweet natured most of the time. Both girls love school and are learning well!(when we get around to doing it) Admittedly we have not been regular in our school time! Which I am trying hard to get better on! Well Asher still has double ear infections and is on stronger meds. So we will see! He is very fast crawling and he is also trying to walk! He stands up by himself and he has great balance! He stands up well and with out holding onto anything now! Any day now he will just take that first step! Yes I know he is too young for it at only 9 1/2 months walking should be farther off but I fear he is going to be faster then his sisters! He is already saying Hunter, Dada, Momma (only sparingly though) Dina and Niah, He also says All done and he has a deep growl when he does not get his way! He does bite sometimes which is mostly me on the receiving end! I have weened him mostly he has only nursed once in four days which is pretty good. That might be the cause of his biting! He is not happy about it! I nursed both girls until their first birthday but Asher has more teeth and is seemly a bit meaner then they were! Well I have done allot today I will try to get on here and update you on their Easter and the rest of the month soon! Please keep John and all the other soldiers in your prayers!

Well the end of march is coming fast and there have been so many changes! I have not really had time to get on here and write anything! I am struggling to remember everything that has happened since we came home! Well in the last post I mentioned Ashers fevers! He had them for going on three weeks! I took him to the Doctor many times and to no avail there seemed to be no other symptoms? He is much better now! We found out he has double ear infections and thrush! Fun stuff! Our regular doctor found some white stuff growing in his throat and it seems to be why he was not eating very much for some time! Well he is getting bigger fast now he is back to eating everything! He now has five teeth! The upper three came in only a few days apart! With being sick having three teeth come in and ear infections he was not a happy camper! He seems to be getting back to normal now! I am trying to ween him now and he is not happy about that but so many teeth and he is quite strong willed, which is becoming apparent. Well Now on to his sisters! They love to make Asher laugh and they have a tendancy to be a bit rough with him, but the louder and rougher they are the funnier he seems to think it is! Adina is three now she just had her birthday and she is growing so fast! She is counting to 12 well and knows all her colors and her letters. She follows Ananiah around and they play so well together! They like to have their friends over so at any given time I have one or two extra kids running around! Wed. night I had five little girls here and two baby boys. Asher is much bigger then his cousin Ezra but they are both sooo cute! Well it is bed time now an dI will try to update you more on the whole clan! We miss the two big kids since we did not get to see them this spring break but I guess we will have to wait until summer! Teenagers now and too busy for us! LOL! Oh well keep Hayden in yoru prayers he busted his head open again! not the first time and I am sure not the last he is fine not even enough of a cut for more then two staples! Ananiah is singing everything and even learning new sons everyday! She loves to sing all the time! The MP3 players they got for Christmas are getting good use!

Hello all well I am being lazy and I have not updated this thing in a while! so here goes! We are all getting over some sort of flu bug! Asher has had a temp. for a week now off and on! Last night was the worst and I hope the last of it! I fear he is getting lost more teeth and that is why his temperature was so high! 102 orally. He has been fussy for a while now since we got home and that is just not him! I know the travel mixed him up but I think it is more his teeth than anything! he got the first two a few days apart so the rest might come in twos as well!
Ananiah is starting school on Monday! we were going to start on Thursday of this past week but MOMMY ordered the wrong teaching manuals!! She is in K5 and I ordered K4 teaching manual but K5 child kit from Abeka! Well I reordered the right ones and they should be here by Monday! Fun!! She is still going all the time and always wants people to come over or go over there! Just like her daddy! She is very active and always (yes i do mean always) busy! even in her sleep!
If you have read my facebook you know Adina is due for surgery on the fourth of March. She has what is called a inguinal hernia which is to be repaired by surgery! It is very scary to think about it, however I know the Lord is in control and watching over my baby(s)! I posted a link to some information on my FB. We are dealing with it ok! I just found out yesterday so give me some time! I am trying not to worry or stress out! So pray for us! LOL Well things here are going well! it is nice to be home and I am working on getting the house up to speed to sell it! We got new ceiling fans put up in the living room! and they match! LOL we had two in there but they did not match at all! It looks so much better! The story is funny how I cam got these two ceiling fans but I will relate that another day! anyhow I am doing as well as can be expected in all the craziness! LOL Well the little ones are up and I need to make WAFFLES! Again Please pray for our Adina and my sanity!

Ok so it has been over a month since I have updated this thing! I am a slacker! I could say I was busy with three kids and three dogs, or that we have been sick off and on for the last month and being at my moms and not getting on the computer much! I could say the truth I just have not been on here much and I have been lazy and slacking! That is the truth! I am lazy! Things have been nice! We have been busy and the kids have truely enjoyed spending time with all the family! There is lots to tell and I will fill you in, just not now! for now you will have to wait and just watch some of the video clips i will post an dpictures I am uploading! Thanks for understanding and know I will soon update you on all things about our family once I return to Texas and settle back into a schedule!

Ok well it has been a long time since I updated this thing! Well since John left we have been very busy! I have been cleaning out the house to try to get it ready to sell! NO we are not going anywhere yet! We have been praying about the house and feel it is time to sell it. I had some rough times right after John left and I stepped down from my position as the Church Secretary. I Prayed about it and feel that is what the Lord is leading me to do. John understands and is behind me all the way! I have had problems with it and I loved working there but we both feel it is time to move on! John and I feel like the Lord is leading us other places, not sure yet where. Those of you in the Military know how it is! Well, the kids are getting too big for me! Ananiah is such a good helpper we made some cookies the other day and she practically made them herself! She loves to bake and I love to have her help me! Adina is still a stinker she torments anyone who will let her, but she is sweet most of the time. However, She has a very big stinker streak! Ananiah is always on the go and for those who have been around John much you know it comes from him! He can not sit still! Asher is getting too big he can hold his own bottle and even drinks from a sippy cup! He is grabbing stuff and putting it in his mouth. He tries to grab anything that comes close to his mouth! He is rolling everywhere now and even crawls backward! Man they get big fast! I don't remember if the girls were this fast this young. If I have more they may just come out crawling! or even worse walking! He is six months old now and man it goes by fast! We now have three dogs and three kids here! I am scared to think what it will be like here this summer. WE usually get Hayden and Jamie for the summer or part of it anyway. Jamie is driving now and she even has her own car so maybe we will not have to go get them this summer! I am looking forward to seeing them at Christmas! The kids, dogs and I are going to my momma's for Christmas again this year and we are all very excited about it! Fun fun! Me traveling with three kids and three dogs across country! Pray for me!!! Well I think /i have given lots to pray abotu now so I will fill you in on more later! Again Pray for John!

Well hello all! November is here and John has come home for R&R and now he is back in Iraq! Things have been so busy! We have two new dogs, Hunter is gone as of now it breaks my heart but I don't know what else to do! I know everyone is thinking it was the new puppies that sent him running but it wasn't! Hunter has always had a running streak he just failed to be caught or return this time. He has been gone three days! I miss him very much. The girls miss him too. I hate that Asher did not get to know him, Hopefully he will be returned to us soon. Anyway back to our recent vacation if you can call it that, we were so busy there was not much time to spend at home. Before John came home, me ant the kids traveled to Arkansas to see the other kids, then on to Tennessee to my grandpa's house and pick up John when he flew in. We stayed in Tenn. a week, My parents came up on Friday to see us and Asher. My dad hadn't seen him yet. Then we drove back to Arkansas so John and Hayden could spend some time together. All in all we got about a week at home but most of those days were busy with some activity with the church! Was a full time and a busy three weeks! It was wonderful to see John and the girls were connected to him the whole time. As I was writing this I got a package in the mail from him from the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Apparently the USO there has a reading room and lets the deployed soldiers pick books out and record them reading them to their children! So I now have a DVD for the kids to watch everyday of Papa reading books to them! What a blessing! We made some tapes of him reading the Bible to them at night before he left but our Tape thing does not work right for our Camcorder tapes??? Anyway that is a wonderful blessing! My husband is the best in the whole world he is so thoughtful! The kids will love it so much! Before he left the girls and I went and got our hair cut. I will post some pictures soon! John took over a thousand pictures while on leave and they are all on his laptop so he has to download them and send them to me! The puppies names are Pupcake(strawberry shortcakes dogs name) and Mocha! Very interesting puppies. They are pretty good for puppies. John even let us have them, boy he is changing! God is working on him and us! Things here are good other then having to let him go again we are all good!

Early Thanksgiving!

Hello all well we are back from Vacation! John arrived safely and we had a great time in Tennessee and Arkansas. We saw my family and some of John's family! The kids adored all the attention and having Papa back with us! Today we are having an early Thanksgiving for him, most of the church family is going to be here shortly. This time with him has been wonderful and very precious. He has been in good spirits and so have I. I am dreading him leaving though the girls and I will have a hard time of it this time. We will not get to see him for another 8-11 months! So please Pray for us and for John, he really does not want to go back! Well I need to get off here and finish my hams and yams before everyone gets here! Have a wonderful day and Thank God for what you have today!

Here is a short clip of Ananiah singing with another boy from Church. She is four and he is seven. She loves Children's Choir practice and singing in front of the church. From the time she was one she has loved to be in front of people and preform. She loves to sing and I think she is pretty good and she remembers the songs really well! It must help that her momma loves music and we sing all the time here at home and in the car! She also loves horses and we are in the right place for it. We have been to a few rodeos recently and she got to ride a horse the other night and Our friend Pastor Bob let her hold the reins and steer the horse around the arena. She was in hog heaven! Man she is growing up so fast. Sunday night she did this song and we had some gospel singers there and they praised her singing, Yes I am bragging! They told me to keep her singing and they look forward to hearing her again and that she stayed on pitch very well! I am very thankful she loves to sing and loves to go to church! The Lord has blessed us tremdously! Ananiah is a very happy girl, most of the time and spends alot of her time on the go, She told me tonight after watching TLC's jon and kate plus eight and 17 and counting that she wants 15 brothers and sisters! I can not express how much joy she has brought into our lives. She has been such a wonder helping me with Asher and around the house. She still has her days when I want to tape her mouth closed and hang her in the closet because the child never stops talking or going. Way too much energy and questions! But she is a delight and a wonder to me!

This is funny! I was videoing Asher after his bath, Yes I video as much as I can for John while he is not here. I moved the camera and Asher was following me seemingly telling me off while following the camera with his eyes and head! He is too cute!
It is very late and we had thunder storms tonight. I could hear the girls talking in the bed room while I was unwinding watching TV, well mostly flipping channels, I don't watch much I like to flip channels. I detest commercials. Anyway The girls heard the thunder and used it as an excuse to come out and hang out with me. They like to watch Jon and Kate plus eight and it is on late at night here so I let them lay with me on the couch and watch it until Midnight. Sounds bad huh but with John gone they seem to need more time with me then normal so with no real reason for a schedule I figured what could it hurt! They were really sweet just laying on me and watching TV. They stay so busy during the day they only really spend time with me when their hurt or sick or tired. So it was fun to just watch TV together. They are getting so big Ananiah is pretty self sufficient she even works the microwave and gets her own food! I think back on when she was little like Asher and miss her sweet babyness! Now she is too smart and always busy! Adina is getting there even faster then Ananiah! She wants me some days but most days I am there only to help her get things when she is too lazy to do it herself. She does not want help most days and they both talk like they are teenagers. They want makeup and nail polish, lipstick, and to go all athe time. Where did the young years go? The one thing they do that I love is they still play in the dirt and I love that it shows me they don't need toys all the time. Well I am going to go to bed and hope they sleep in since they were up so late!

Asher is getting so big. He is making allot more noise now, He has laughed and he hollars when he is not getting attention. He smiles at the girls when they talk to him. He loves to hear and see what is going on! He is a very content and happy baby! If I put him in his swing he can sit in it for hours. I lay him on the floor on a blanket and he will just lay there and kick his feet. He sits in his car seat at the church most of the time and just watches what is going on! He is a wonder and I love to hold him and play with him! He is getting so big though and trying to sit up. He does not like to lay flat he will lift his head and try to pull himself up so he can see what his sisters are doing. I need to get him one of those rubber chairs that help them sit up! He laughed at me the other day when I was playing with him. He had his first bowl of cereal on saturday. He is eating so much I could not keep up and he seems to always be hungery and not sleeping through the night completely yet. So I fed him so cereal! He slept longer then his normal time but not through the night! Yawn! I guess that is why I am so tired. Anyway he is a wonderful baby and we are blessed to have him!

Here is a cake I made for a friends baby shower they are having a boy and chose the jungle theme. I had so much fun with this. Maybe one day I will get to do this all the time for people! I hope they like it, I had so much fun doing it!
I made the lion first then made cupcakes and decorated them with green icing, like grass and then I found these jungle animal candles and put them around the cake on the cupcakes. I cut out animal cookies and decorated them to put around the cupcakes! It was fun I will take a picture tomorrow when we decorate the fellowship hall for the baby shower! The chocolate Icing is tasty! I ate enough while decorating to last me for a while!

Well, August is over and it is getting cooler here, not much but a little! It was below the 90's the other day so that is cooler. John is doing well, for those who have not heard from him he is very busy and is trying to write to most everyone soon! If you want to write him a letter or send a card he loves getting them! We are doing well here! I don't get out much but taking three little ones into and out of the truck and stores is not very fun, so we don't get out unless we have to or I get cabin fever! Ananiah is her fathers daughter! She gets cabin fever after one day and wants to go all the time! Adina is like me and would rather be at home! Asher is fussy in his car seat so that makes it even easier to stay at home! Adina was like that too when she was little! Anyway things here are good! The girls are doing well and Asher is growing quite a bit he is eleven pounds now and over 22 inches long. He fits well into 0-3 month clothes! He is a fun baby smiles all the time and even laughed at me today! Ananiah tried to cut her hair Saturday. It was interesting. I caught her trying to cut her sisters hair as well! She managed to cut chunks out of the right side of her hair behind her ear! So she has short hair now! It is really cute but I was hoping her hair would get long! Adina did not let her cut hers so that was good! Adina is such a stinker, she has a personality that you just have to laugh at her. She will argue just to get you to argue back! She loves to be sassy! I have to fuss at her for her mouth all the time! She is a stinker, most of it is to be funny! Ananiah loves to sing! Adina loves to pester and mess with me and Ananiah. Asher is just my sweet smiley boy! Hope everyone had a good Labor day!

Ananiah, Alex (friend), Adina and Asher went out to a friends ranch outside of town today! Of course I took them hehehe! We had a good time they got to ride a horse Roper, and feed a bottle to a calf. Asher did not ride of course but when he gets big enough we will be riding with him! The girls are already asking for a horse! Anyway things around here are going well! the girls are so funny! Ananiah is a big helper she helps with her brother and helps me around the house too. She likes to hold the baby monitor when he is sleeping in the bed room, she calls it the baby thermonitor. It is really cute. We had a really good time. John called while we were there so he got to hear their excitement. The picture of Asher holding the calfs bottel I thought was so cute.

Well I am now 31 years old and I don't feel a day over 25! Which is good right or am I in denial! That is most likely the case since I have had three children since I was 25! LOL Anyway John called on my birthday which was great! the kids behaved ok and I got to go shopping and out to dinner at Red Lobster! It was fun! I spent time with my favorite people (other then my hubby who is my favorite over everyone) and had a wonderful day! Thank you Lord for the people in my life! I really don't feel older then 25 I am not sure why that number is stuck in my head if you catch me off guard I will even tell you that is my age! Which it is not! HEHEHE! I kept wanting to say it was my 25th birthday when people asked! It always takes me a minute to remember which year it is!
The children are doing well! Asher is rolling over, cooing, and smiling alot! If you leave him on his stomache he pushes himself around with his feet! We found that out the hard way if you remember! He is a wonderfully happy baby and a true blessing!
Ananiah has decided she is going to be too grown up to be diciplined! She gets major ATTITUDE when I try to help her or ask her to help me if she does nto want to do it! Where did my swet baby girl go? She still helps out and if I play with any other child she wants me to play with her and not them! But when I start messing with her she is too busy for it and does not feel like playing! She has gotten to grownup! She will still help me out when it is her idea! We have started working on a chore chart and she likes to do that and move the pieces on it when she has competed an item! She is really getting so big!
Adina is not sure if she wants to be a big girl or momma's baby! I keep telling her she is a big girl, but I am not sure she is buying it! She likes to do things herself, mostly stuff she can not do by herself! But the things I know she can do she wants help with! She does not like the chore chart and likes to go mess around when I tell her to do things! I have had to crack down on them both quite a bit now that John is not here to help me. They both like to push my buttons especially when I am nursing Asher. They are both very sweet at bed time though, they love to talk about their Papa, and read his letters to them over and over especially at bed time! I know it is a stall tatic so they don't get to read it every night but most nights we read them.
John is doing well he appericates the letters and cards everyone has sent, Thank you all very much for your prayers and letters! John has written some of you and is going to write some more letters soon! He is working on getting better about it! I need to be better about it too! Those of you that sent gifts for Asher Thank you very much!!! Well I am tired and it is bed time here so good night everyone!

We are doing pretty good here. I had a rough week one migraine that lasted four days but was gone today so we ventured out to a friends house to go swimming. they had to leave so me and the kids stayed and played for a while Asher liked the water after he got used to it. At first he was not thrilled but he enjoyed it after a while. The girls swim like fish and never want to leave! I got some video clips of ananiah jumping for the rings and sticks that sink to the bottom. She has to still wear a flotation swim suit so she could not reach the bottom, it was quite funny! Adina tries everything her sister does so that was even funnier! I truly enjoyed the one on one time with the children! It was nice to get to play with the two older ones. Asher sat in his seat and watched us after it got too windy and cool for him in the pool. We love to swim and it helps me get my muscles back in shape! I would love to swim everyday! It helps my RA as well! Anyway things here are great! John has called a few times and he is in good spirits and has gotten to fly some and is also getting to go to church there as well. they have a baptist Chaplain this time around so Church is better for him! He is enjoying it. Please keep him and all the soldiers in your prayers!

Well today we did not do much! I am working on getting the house ready to sell and the girls are helping! When they chose not to clean their room I tell them I will give the toys on the floor to children who don't have any toys, so they have decided instead of putting their toys away they will put them in bags to give away to other children. It is a ploy not to have to clean but I make them pick the toys up anyway and put them in a trash bag, so either way they are cleaning up their room! Although they have less toys to pick up the next time! So tonight they did not want to clean so they got trash bags and put almost all their toys in them! So they have no toys left in their room! They are giving them all away! It is so funny, but I feel bad because some of those toys are so cute and they love playing with them. I will keep some and give them back maybe after we move or something. I am not sure what they will play with but they always seem to find something, and never complain that they don't have toys. I hope it is teaching them to be generous with their things.

Hello all well I have had a request for more updates on the blog so here ya go! I am doing fine and the girls are doing well. Ananiah is the most affected by her papa being in Iraq, every once in a while when she slows down enough to think about it it hits her and she starts crying saying she misses her daddy. they both started calling him that at the beginning of this year. I am not sure why but I think it is cute! I still call my dad Daddy! Anyway we went swimming today and it was Asher's first time in the pool. He seemed to enjoy it until it got to far up his back, then he fussed a bit. He seemed to enjoy it anyway. The girls are fish and beg to go swimming all the time. I hink Asher will be the same. He had his first shower with his Papa before John left he did not fuss about it at all! He seems to enjoy water! Well if I wondered if he could be any more active for his age and now at six weeks he can turn over, hold his head up for some time, scootch on his back using his heals, scootch on his belly by using his feet to push him. I am beginning to wonder what is in breast milk!! I am not on any meds. so why is my six week old son moving so much? I am certain that is not normal which worries me! I am still not over my scare from him falling off my bed! I have nightmares about it still! I now worry about him falling out of everything and off everything! Asher's Aunt Fran sent the cutest outfits here is a picture of him in one, the others are way t big for him yet! He is still in newborn diapers, and some preemie outfits fit him! well I guess I should go for now! Hope everyone is doing well!

Well John is in Kuwait now and he is doing ok! We are adjusting ok the girls have been a little fussy and whiny but are dealing with it ok. I am trying hard to keep busy and keep my mind off it. The baby is doing great he is eating well and getting bigger. Clothes actually fit him somewhat now. He was in Preemie clothes but those are too short for him now! I think he will be like Ananiah small and short! Adina is the only one we have with meat on her bones and other then her legs there is not much there. She is such a stinker. She loves to torment everyone, and argue!! I have no idea where she gets it! Hahaha! Ananiah is my serious one, every now and again she will try to be funny. She is sweet and loving but she is very much like her Papa, likes thing to be a certain way and very truthful in everything. We have caught her in a few lies but not many she will tell you who did what and when! She loves to talk on the phone and when she loves you she really loves you! however if she does not like you she will just not put up with you! generally she loves everyone though!
Adina like i said is a stinker. She is still my cuddly one and wants to be in my lap most of the time. She loves to torment her sister, usually it is meant in fun but comes across kinds mean! We are working on it! She loves to get her sister riled up, maybe because it is easy or because she just loves to get a reaction from her. They play together ok most of the time but in bad moments they fight worse then I have seen in a while! I have to separate them. Drives me batty!
We had an eventful week before John left, Asher who was only three weeks old decided he was not happy on the blanket and scotched with his feet off the side of my bed. I put him between two pillows and he went over one, across my bed and down onto the tile floor. I thought he was dead. I cried for hours. We took him to the ER, he was fine no worse for the wear! I could not even tell them what had happened I was so upset! I thought I had killed my son! He is fine though I forget how resilient little ones are. He eats very good and sleeps well. He only fusses when he has a dirty diaper or he is hungry! He is a very happy baby! Tomorrow he will be one month old! I am enjoying him so much! I love to hold him and smell his neck. He smells different then the girls did. And he is calmer then they are so hopefully he is my mellow baby! Well that is all that is going on right now! I hope everyone will pray for my husband and his unit in Iraq! Thank you very much!

Hello all Well we have a new addition to our ever growing household! Asher Alan McBride was born on Monday June 23rd 2008. He was 6 pounds 14 ounces, 19.75 inches long. He has dark hair and a sweet little face! He is a good baby hardly ever cried the first three days. When we got home he and the other kids adjusted well! Adina had a hard time when I was not here, she is still a bit of a momma's girl! Nana and all the kids have just adored Asher being home. They have all tried very hard to help me out in many ways. Asher is nursing and doing well, the girls don't really understand it and it is funny to hear them ask where I am getting his milk! It is hard to explain nursing to a four and two year old. Thank you everyone for all your prayers.

Well Hello all!! We are leaving in the morning for our scheduled C-Section to bring Asher Alan McBride into this world! We are very excited and will post as many pictures as we can when I get home! We also joined facebook Mary! We had to because ringo was closing so we needed somewhere else to post pictures! Anyway I will be posting pictures soon of the girls and the family with my very big belly and then some pictures of Asher as soon as we get some. Hello all, Well it is June and I am ready to pop (as John says!) We have a few more days until Asher comes. The house is full already Hayden and Jayme are here and we are enjoying them. My mom will be here in four days, the girls are sooo excited about that! We have not had Ananiahs birthday party due to other engagements and the chicken pox. The doctor says they had them but we are not sure that is what it was. There were thirty or forty on Ananiah, Adina started with them but never got too many she only had maybe twenty-five! They were over them in a few days and never really complained of itching? Not one bump was scratched! They looked like chicken pox and came up suddenly like them but not sure if that is what they were! Anyway We are having Ananiahs birthday party this weekend at the park! she could not decide what kind of birthday party to have but ended up with the same ol thing Strawberry Shortcake! She has had SS for every birthday so far! John and I got her a big girl bike for this birthday! She loves to go running and exercising with her Papa so we thought that they could go biking together too! We are working on potty training Adina now, she is doing alright. She is a stubborn child, she only wants to go when she thinks she will get candy!! She is working on it and doing pretty good. To me it is a little late but what works for one child does not always work for the other! She just turned two so I guess we are doing well. She tells us she is a big girl and does not want to wear diapers but seems to prefer them over panties right now! I hope she gets over this before the baby comes, having two in diapers is stressful! Adina is really a mommas girl and we are going to have trouble when the baby comes, She told me the other day she was going to tear him up because he was kicking momma! It was the funniest thing, She grabbed my shirt and started twisting it and saying I going to tear you up baby brother. So we know not to leave her alone with him for a while!! She is so cute though! It sounds harsh but it really was cute!
It is hot here so we are spending time in the kiddy pool most days! Well not me I would not fit but the girls are! LOL Things here are pretty good John is trying to finish the garage bathroom before my mom gets here so she will have a place to go for quite time, which is rare here! We are very excited about Nana coming! Well I think that is all for now! Will post pictures of Ananiahs Birthday party after tomorrow! Well today is the day after mothers day and we had great weather and great friends on mothers day. The kids and John did well, they got me what I asked for and we had a nice lunch over at a friends house! I did not get my Sunday afternoon nap and I paid for it after church but we had a wonderful day!
It has been so nice out we have been spending alot of time outside. So I am planing on working on the yard this year I really want a garden but being this big i don't think i can plant much nor use the tiller. Hehe that would be a fun site, I have mowed the yard at nine months but i think i just might shake the baby too much with a tiller! Would be nice to have the fresh veggies I want though!
Ananiah's birthday is coming up and we are planning her birthday party, she is not really in to any one character so not sure what she wants for her theme this year. up until now it has been strawberry shortcake but this year I am just not sure what she wants! She does not need anything at this point but i am sure she will gets lots of stuff!

Well here it is a new month, we are now in May and I can not believe how fast this year is going? Ananiah is going to be four this month and my niece is going to be nine. Man time flies these days!! the baby will be here next month and my mom is coming for a visit. Please pray she does not get sick with the gunk here this time!! She had an awful time last year when she was here! We are preparing for a few things coming up next month, please pray for my husband and our family. I will be recovering and preparing for our separation. Not much has gone on here this month. The girls are getting bigger and more fun and I have grown bigger if that is possible!!! I go back to the doctor on the 7th of May to find out my results for my glueclose test. Adina is supposed to see a orthopedic Doctor for her walk, she turns her right foot in and trips allot. She is working on potty training and hopefully before the baby comes she will be done with diapers! One in them is expensive enough!! hahaha I am really looking forward to my mom coming out and spending time with her! The girls are so excited when we talk about it! I have been working on projects here at the house lately, we sanded and stained our kitchen table, funny how things never are finished around here!! LOL I could find fifty half finished projects around here. I need a good handy man to come for a few weeks to finish my started projects!! LOL I am working on finishing the grouting of the tile we did months ago in the bathroom!!! The garage needs to be cleaned and painted, plus all the other things we need to finish in there!!! Well y wonderful hubby tries to get things done but there is never enough time he is always being pulled to do more somewhere else!! He is flying this weekend leaving early Sunday morning and won't be back until late Sunday night. Anyway he loves his flying, if he could he would buy a plane just so he could fly anywhere he wanted!! We may be traveling to Arkansas at the end of the month to see John nephew graduate with honors! That is exciting news for the family. I am sure it wil not be fun on my part being this big and traveling but we will make due!! We get to pick up Hayden and Jamie that same weekend as well, so that is nice! Well anyway people that is our update for this month. Hello all well today was a very interesting day. The Youth group went out to play paint ball at a local paint ball place. Well of course I am huge and we always take our girls with us on most youth activities, so there we are the four of us with five youth and three other adults! I did get to shoot a few kids. I even shot a few adults! Ananiah got to shoot the paint ball gun she loved it thought she was big stuff! John and I determined our kids already think they are part of the youth group, but they are going to think they are teen agers way before their time!!! They already act way to old for their ages! Anyway I did not get shot by any paint balls, neither of the girls did either. They had a good timing playing in the dirt and fields out there and watching their Papa shoot and get shot!! We all had a very interesting day and enjoyed it very much!!!

On another Note John has passed his PC ride(Pilot in Command) So now he is capable of being the pilot in charge of the flights! It sounds less impressive when I am writing it but he really has worked hard for this! He has been behind in flight time due to his commander and those in charg giving him way to many extra duties including the EOC duty where he had to deal with the fallen soldiers families and help them through all the red tape the military has! He was away with that for almost three months! He lost alot of flight time when he was away! So he is trying to catch up now! Well please be praying for him on his flying and his work with the Church, they both keep him very busy!

Easter and vacation!!!

Hello all well it has been a fun and adventurous couple of weeks! We had Adina's birthday party, John went and picked up Hayden and Jayme (his niece), then we had Easter. Then we went on a mini vacation to San Antonio. March is always busy with the Church cottage prayer meetings and now working on the new building. The McBride's have been so busy I think my world is finally stopped spinning and we can take a few days to rest! My poor feet are about to swell off my legs. I am huge and waddling around because of the baby being so low, everyone says they do not think I can go for three more months! When you see the pictures of us at Sea World you will think the same!! Easter was fun we had an Easter egg hunt at the church, it was wet so we had it inside our empty fellowship hall. It was lots of fun for the kids to find the eggs right on the floor!!! Then we left for San Antonio on Monday, after many problems and stops we finally got to Sea World around two in the afternoon, right before the Samau show started! Everyone was thrilled with that show. I think I am the only one that had seen it before. Even John enjoyed himself so much that day! The kids got wet over and over, they rode the water rides that were open and the little ones enjoyed the animals. Adina was in love with the penguins, she wanted to take them home. Both girls adore animals, they have Clydesdale's there and they are so beautiful. I took plenty of pictures please look on our ringo account for more pictures. The next day we went to the San Antonio zoo it was so much fun. I ended up in a wheelchair due to my hips and being so big!! It was interesting and fun to see the different animals and the children's reaction to them! The Hippos were my favorite! I think the girls loved the monkeys the best. Hayden liked it all. He helped to push his big o'l mom in the wheelchair as did Jayme! It was a very interesting and fun day! We were all tired by the time we got back to the hotel. After we checked out of the hotel the next day we went to find the Alamo for the adults fun filled day! The kids were slightly less interested in this outing! They had a good time but were hot and tired from all the past fun filled days! John truly enjoys stuff like that, he would spend his days in museums and history places if he could. So this was right up his ally! He learned some interesting information and had a good time! We all did! by the time we got home Wed. it was time to change for Church. Thursday was supposed to be a time of rest but in the end we were all busy trying to unpack and get the house in order, ok I was the kids and john played and Jayme worked on a school project! So today as John takes the kids back to Arkansas I will be finishing laundry and resting! My poor feet need it! LOL!

Hello all well today we had Adina's Second birthday party! She actually turned two on Friday but we waited until Papa came home sat. WE had a great turnout most of our Church family came and everyone brought gifts even though we told them not too! Adina got horses, a doll, a vacuum and cleaning cart. She loved the Clothes and the cards from everyone! We truly enjoyed everyone coming over and the fellowship. There was a horse cake and a horse pinata! She has discovered a love of horses. I have posted a few pictures on Ringo already. We had a interesting day, we found out we have a mouse in our house. It is somewhere in the girls closet, we have set a trap for it and moved the girls to bubba's room for the night until we find it and get it out of the house! They have had way too much sugar today and are bouncing off the walls. Papa and I got Adina a jumper-gym which is a blow up trampoline for inside that has a cage around so they don't fall out! They can not stay out of it! It is a little bigger then I expected and have to figure out where we will keep it! Well it is almost ten thirty and they are still jumping so we meed to get them to bed now! After all the excitement here today with church, the party, church, then dairy queen, and now the mouse I imagine they will sleep well tonight! As will I with all the stuff I have had to do to prepare for this weekend! goodnight all!

It is March 9th and Adina will be 2 on the 14th. My niece Allison's birthday is on the 15th so we are trying to prepare for a birthday party and find Allison her gift this week. We are planning a birthday party on the 16th after church mostly just a BBQ with our church family. It should be lots of fun. There will be cake, ice cream and a games for the little ones! Hopefully when the Hayden and Jaymie come at the end of the month we will be able to go to San Antonio to the Zoo and maybe Sea World. I have not been to Sea World in a long long time so that should be fun for them! Both the girls love animals so it should be fun! I am getting bigger then I expected with this little boy. I am huge and only getting bigger! hehehe!! I love to read my friends blogs about their children, it is so much fun! Mary you have the neatest entries! You should be a writer!

I am going to add a section for prayer requests for those of you who read this and pray for us. It is something I would love to know about those I keep up with as well!

Well it has been some time since I have been on here. I have been pretty busy around here lately, between me being sick (morning sickness) the girls having the flu and ananiah having Adenoid surgery we have all been in some form of recovery for over a month or so now. I am much better, the girls still have the snots but other then that we are all doing well! John has been deployed to the border for a few weeks now and won't be back until the 15th of Mar. or after then? Who knows with the Army!!! They are flying and He loves that so I am happy for him! I somehow manage to get allot of stuff done while he is gone? I guess because i focus on things I have been putting off when I do not have to worry or take care of all his stuff! Husbands!! I miss him terribly when he is gone and am quite jumpy! I have never been one to sleep well while he is away! HEHEHE Last night we had a terrible wind storm and it knocked the my yard swing over on the patio in the back and scared me to death I had to find the pistol and sneak over to the door to see what all the noise was. It was late and no one should have been in our back yard. I had the phone in one had and John's 45 in the other. The girls slept right through all the noise? Well Ananiah's surgery went well, she went in to out patient surgery on the 21st. She was supposed to be on liquid diet until that evening but the child was so hungry she ate everything she could get her hands on when we left the hospital. She had three Popsicles, a fried egg, pudding cups, tons of juice, and something else I can not remember. She eats well normally and had not gotten to eat that morning before the surgery. I was a wreak as you can imagine. My baby girl going into surgery was scary!!! She was only there for four hours, in the operating room for less then 20 mins and only under the meds. for less then an hour. She acted like nothing was wrong and we never saw her cry a bit. The nurses praised her for how good she was, one said she had good lungs, I guess she fussed some when she first woke up. The nurses were so sweet and they thought my girl was so good.
This month is going to go by fast, we have so much planned for this month. John is supposed to be back mid march then we have Hayden and Jamie's spring break. Plus our Adina will be two on the 15th. and Easter is early this year. We have our cottage prayer meetings this month as well. We are busy busy as always. I am 23 weeks along now and the baby is a boy. We found out in Feb. and are truly excited. The name we are thinking about is Isaiah Joseph McBride. John really likes it. I am not completely sold on it. He is showing a little small right now but I have no doubt that he will be a little one by looking at my two other midgets!! They are small for their ages as well but they make up for it in personality.
Ananiah is going to be four in May so we are going to start pre-k soon. I am a little nervous about homeschooling her but she is a bright smart little one and I know she will learn quickly! I am more worried about how well I will be able to keep up with her! LOL She is already trying to learn time and money on her own. She knows her letters, numbers, colors, and shapes she loves to draw and colors well inside the lines now. She loves to do her workbooks, and dot to dot pages. She can write most of her letters we are working on writing her numbers now.
Adina is working on potty training now and her coloring and alphabet now. She is talking so much, she started that early around nine months and can talk as much as Ananiah. She is soo stubborn too. She makes me laugh so much, she pushes every boundary and rule. She is still a baby when she is tired then she wants me to hold and rock her. She is a trouble maker with her sister. She loves to torment her and pick at her. She is such a stinker. She is going to be my jokster. Adina is very interesting in animals, she loves horses the most. I think that is just something in our blood! I plan to try to get both girls into horseback riding lessons as early as I can. They both love to learn about animals.
Things here are always crazy and I try to keep up with this thing but please forgive me for not writing and updating this as much as I wanted to!

Happy New Year to everyone! We had a wonderful vacation. We first traveled to see our son, He is getting so big. Hayden will be 12 this year. He got all kinds of stuff for Christmas, way too much!!! Our Girls just love their bubba and follow him everywhere when we are there. As I write this they are playing a song for their bubba on the Piano. Hayden got drums for Christmas this year and Ananiah is begging for some now! They all three love music. Hayden plays the trombone in band at school so hopefully he will be well rounded in instruments. While we were in Little Rock we got to Visit with Jayme our niece. She is doing well in school and is working on getting her driving permit. After we left there we headed to South Carolina to be at my moms for Christmas. We had a very long drive and my wonderful husband drove all 17 hours but maybe one. We got to my mommas on the morning of the 24th around 9:00 am then got ready to go to church. Church was nice the whole family went. We spent almost two weeks with my family, seeing those we have not seen in some time. It was allot of fun. WE then went to Tennessee and saw Jason, Susan, Dillon, and the new baby Logan in Nashville. Then we went on to Clarksville to see Grandpa and Mary. Then to Aunt Frans house to see her and the kids. After traipsing across half of America we are tired but happy bunch! The Girls enjoyed seeing everyone, they are so loving and full of life! We are happy to be home and trying to get back onto some sort of schedule! We are praying for all our Friends and Family to have a wonderful year!

Christmas is Coming!!

Well hello all, I hope everyone is preparing for Christmas and the happy smiles it will bring. I have not updated in a while so I thought while the kids are playing outside in the sixty degree weather I would post an update. I have so enjoyed reading everyones blogs. I love to keep up with everyone but have little time to chat on the phone or email anymore. I am now starting to show and the morning sickness is not as bad as it was. I have seen the doctor and she gave me phenagrin to help me keep foods down. I have gained back a few pounds I lost in the beginning and John has lost quite a few pounds. I am not getting to do all my Christmas baking this year due to his insistence on no sweets around to help him and my lack of desire to do much of anything right now. I am keeping up with the house work, (yeah right I never did that before two children and morning sickness.) HEHE I am working on getting better though. We had all the teens and little ones over yesterday to decorate Christmas Cookies for the Church. It was fun, allot of work and messy. WE all had a great time. There are four or five dozen Christmas cookies laying around here with way too much Icing on them! They will be gone tonight after the teens Christmas program. Anyhow the children are great, Adina is very in to everything, and wants to help with everything. Ananiah is way to smart for her own good and moody too. Adina does not really play with toys, she messes with a few things but mostly likes things she is not supposed to play with. Ananiah is creative and loves to play games on the computer and draw and color. She is our informer, she likes to give a play by play for us on all Adina is into. John is here most days for only a short time. He is always going, but mostly to work or the Church. Once we get the Church finished I will not know what to do with him. We always try to eat dinner together and manage bedtime together. He is a wonderful PAPA and the girls jump for joy when he comes home for even a second. We are all doing well. WE will be traveling to South Carolina in a few days for Christmas with my family. We will stop in to see Hayden for a few days and visit him on our way home as well. WE have so many people we want to go see this year, it will be hard to fit it all in. The girls are really looking forward to seeing Nana, Grandpa, and their cousins. WE are all excited about the family time on the trip. Well I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season.

I spent all day out with the ladies today on a shopping trip. I spent more time in stores today then I usually do all year. I ate Chinese food and had a wonderful day. I only got sick once and that is a feat. John had four children to look after today so when I came home he RAN out the door. He is funny. He watched another ladies two boys who are great they said less then fifteen words between them and played their video games they never get to play at home! LOL Well for those of you who do not know yes there is another ticker down there which means there is another McBride on the way. We found out two weeks ago. I am 8 weeks pregnant now. We are praying for a boy this time, however we will take what ever we get. The girls are so very excited, Ananiah asks how big the baby is almost every day and I show her in a book what it looks like at that time. Adina likes to give my belly kisses. They both love the babies at church and keep asking for one for our house so I guess they got their request. Ananiah understands to a point but Adina is clueless. She just thinks it is fun to hold and play with Charliann, the baby I babysit from time to time. Well that is the big news for now. We ask everyone to pray for a healthy baby, John requests that everyone pray for Twin or quad boys so we can just be done with the pregnancy part. Because I want at least four kids and six is the ideal number. NO WE ARE NOT CRAZY. I love children and think they are a blessing from God.

A new McBride on the Way

Hello all well today I went on a shopping trip to the outlet mall with the ladies from the Church. It was pretty fun. I enjoyed myself. I have been having headaches pretty regular for about four weeks now, and I found out why. McBride number six in now on the way. Adina wants to give my belly kisses all the time already. Wait until it is huge and she can not sit on my lap the way she does now then we will see if she still wants to give the baby kisses. LOL We are all very excited about this new addition. We are planning on be in South Carolina for Christmas this year. John has not been home in a few years. I am truly looking forward to seeing Grandpa and Mary on the way home as well as having Hayden this Christmas. Hopefully we will not all drive momma nuts while we are at her house!! Anyway other then that we are doing fine and nothing new here besides the new baby. Oh by the way It is due around June 25th. I have not had an ultrasound yet so that is the tentative date.

Well the last few days have been pretty busy around here. The Ladies from our Church and I went to a Ladies retreat last Friday and Sat. it was wonderful, A recharge to worn down batteries. The speaker Brenda Waterloo, and her Husband John Waterloo spoke on keeping your peace and Stop the madness. We tend t put more on our plates then we can physically do in one day (I am so bad at that!) The bible Text was Exodus 18, where Moses is doing more then he can handle and His father-n-law tells him he is wearing himself out. Was really interesting stuff. It hit home pretty hard, I believe it is something God has been trying to tell me for a while. Soooo I have finally listened and am working on my last class in college for a while. I seem to overload myself and need to slowdown! I am pretty happy about the decision. Anyway This week has still been busy for us around here, John's mom got married tonight, we had a Harvest Party for the Children at the Church tonight and Sat. we are having a garage/bake sale for a teen fund raiser. I have baked, caramel apples, popcorn balls, three cakes, cupcakes, a worm dirt cake, and have some pecan pies left to bake! It has been fun baking again I do love to bake and decorate cakes. John has been working at the church every night, they are building our kitchen and stairs to the second story right now. We have most of the framing done for the class rooms, and part of the kitchen. We have to finish the sanctuary, baptismal, Pulpit, and the platform. We got the new front door on the Church this week and that was exciting. It is so pretty, black glass with windows on either side, quiet fancy to us! Soon the electricians will be done and we can put up the drywall and it will be more and more like a real church! We are very excited about every new thing that goes in up there. The girls are still dealing with allergies, they sleep ok but fitfully. I will be so glad when we clear this stuff up. We may have to go back to the doctor next week if it does not get better before then. They are doing great the last time we went to the doc Adina got caught up on her shots, and we found out she has grown 6 inches in only a few months. She is still shorter then all the other little ones her age by about four inches. Ananiah has almost hit 30 pounds at three years old, she may make it there before her fourth birthday! she grew a few inches in height as well. they are so little compared to most children their age. Adina has slimmed down so much. People have started asking us if they are twins? I am afraid they won't win the tallest award but maybe the prettiest.

Hello everyone, Well Lea's blog got to me and I wanted to have one too! I do not know how often I will update it but I will try to do it often. I enjoy reading about others family's and the things y'all are doing so I guess I will do the same for y'all. We are doing well, John is flying today and he gets to fly to Fredrickson's tomorrow with his whole company to get lunch. He loves to fly. The girls are getting big, Ananiah is 35 in and 29 pounds, Adina is 30in and 23 pounds. Hayden weights allot and he is almost as tall as me! Granny and Auntie Shannon are doing well. the Garage is not finished but it is getting there. WE have one working bathroom but I am becoming quite handy fixing things! I have learned to tile quite well. I am working on tiling the Shower in the girls bathroom and i have finished the floor. I am building shelves in the laundry room/ pantry next. I will try to get a camera soon so i can update my pictures.
